David Walsh

David Walsh is chief sports writer with The Sunday Times. He is a four-time Irish Sports Writer of the Year and also a four-time Sports Writer of the Year in the UK. In 2012 he was judged Journalist of the Year in the UK for his 13- year campaign to show that Lance Armstrong was not a true champion but an athlete who cheated. Walsh wrote three books about Armstrong, culminating in the international best seller Seven Deadly Sins which inspired the recently released motion picture, The Program, starring Ben Foster, Chris O'Dowd and Dustin Hoffman. Walsh lives with his family in Suffolk, England.
